Team broke fast at the start, beating Flagstaff (Arizona) State Teachers, Denver and Wyoming, and figuring in 7-7 deadlock with University of Utah.
Jack Christensen, leading back, won high-scoring honors in Rocky Mountain Conference. Charlie Roberts, Ken Soffe, Merrill Waters and Captain Forrest Bird, all versatile stars, graduated. Wayne Reeve and Fred Bateman are co-catains.
