1975 Season Stats

The kicking of Lee Pistor and the sterling play of Theopolis Bell provided the Wildcats with a 19-0 lead at halftime. The Cougars bounced back in the second half with Gifford Nielsen connecting on 9 straight passes. But, it was all 'T' Bell who set up scores with kickoff retruns of 71 and 66 yards and caught two 23-yard touchdown passes. Jeff Blanc was held to 68 yards on 22 caries. 27,882 fans attended the game. The Wildcats did not give up a fumble or pass interception.
