Running back Stacey Corey scored the opening and closing touchdowns of the game with runs of three and six yards.
The game was marred by a bench-clearing brawl which saw a player from each team ejected.
A balanced Cougar attack netted 281 yards rushing and 348 yards passing. BYU penalty problems continued as the Cougars were penalized 14 times for 125 yards.
Among the highlights was the longest drive (time-wise) of the year when the Cougars took the second half kickoff and went 87 yards in 12 plays and six minutes 23 seconds to score.
BYU is now 3-1.
