BYU wins its fifth consecutive Homecoming game.

The Cougars take an early lead with a 15-yard touchdown run by Kalin Hall and a 22-yard field goal by David Lauder.

Fresno Slate storms back, going 80 yards in five plays.

BYU outscores the Bulldogs 17-9 in the second quarter as Jamal Willis high-steps for seven yards to the goal line and quarterback Ryan Hancock and Eric Drage pull off a 77-yard pass completion in the final minute of the half.

Fresno State scores late in the third quarter off a one-yard run by Lorenzo Neal and Ron Rivers is the ball carrier for a successful two-point conversion.

The Cougars put Fresno State away in the fourth quarter with a 42-yard field goal and two touchdowns.

Hancock dives two yards for the first down on fourth-and-one. Hall runs for five yards on his second score after a 7:54 drive.

BYU is now 3-3.
