1st Quarter

Following an Arizona State punt, BYU opens the contest up with a 37-yard pass from Kevin Feterick to Ben Cahoon down to the ASU 17. The drive stalled there, however, and ended with a missed field goal.

ASU countered with a 44-yard field goal from their outstanding Senior kicker Robert Nycz. KEY PLAY: 36-yard pass from Ryan Kealy to Lenzie Jackson.

Two long completions from Feterick to fullback Kalani Fifita Sitake put BYU into scoring position on the ASU 32. The Cougars can't capitalize and miss another field goal.

2nd Quarter

BYU begins the 2nd Quarter with a 6-yard touchdown run by Brian McKenzie. KEY PLAYS: Feterick to Cahoon for 22-yards, Margin Hooks from Feterick for 17 yards.

Aaron Roderick of BYU fumbles the Arizona State punt, and the Sun Devils recover on the Cougar 14-yard line. From there J.R. Redmond dives in from 2-yards out for the touchdown.

Following a BYU punt, Arizona State fumbles which leads to a 45-yard field goal for BYU's Owen Pochman. KEY PLAY: Feterick to Cahoon for 37-yards.

Both teams then exchange punts to take the game to halftime.

3rd Quarter

BYU begins the 3rd quarter by driving the ASU 2-yard line. The drive is stopped there on a fumble by Brian McKenzie.

After the teams exchanged punts, another ASU punt got a BYU drive started. Two long passes from Feterick to Cahoon and a 26-yard McKenzie run set BYU up at the ASU 13. The drive stalled once again and Arizona State blocked a field goal attempt.

Both teams offer up multiple punts during the first five minutes of the final period.

With 10 minutes left, BYU starts an impressive six-minute drive ending in a 32-yard field goal by Pochman. KEY PLAYS: 16 and 13-yard runs by McKenzie, Feterick to Cahoon for 19-yards.
